Dr. Ramesh, son of Shri Deve Gowda, Member of Parliament and Ex-Prime Minister of India, set up a 50 Bed Hospital in a suburb of Bangalore. For assistance in commissioning and subsequent operations of the hospital, he approached Mallya Hospital, who in turn approached Srivathsan to take over the assignment.
