National Engineering Industries (NEI), a Birla Group Company, has a large presence in Jaipur where they manufacture Ball Bearings.
They owned large tracts of land on the outskirts of the city and they wanted to explore the possibility of setting up a Super Specialty Hospital in collaboration with the University of Illinois, USA. Based on a detailed survey, a case was established for the setting up of a 200 Bed hospital.
