Asmita Group develops real estate in Mira Road, a northern suburb of Mumbai. They have developed residential property, a Club, shopping mall and other facilities.
They owned a large tract of land within the suburb and they were desirous of setting up a Super Specialty Hospital to provide medical treatment to the population residing in a fairly large catchment area around the suburb. Based on a detailed survey, a case was established for the setting up of a 200 Bed hospital in phases.
